Fish and Wildlife Service today announced it will review the endangered status of the wood stork under the Endangered Species Act. The decision to initiate a status review is the result of a 90-day finding in response to a petition seeking to reclassify this American wading bird to threatened. The refuge conserves, protects, and manages a mosaic of wetlands, grasslands, and forested habitats that support migratory birds and threatened and endangered species. Many new companies and some older exterminators (Bug Guys) have begun trying to provide animal services. Residential development threatened to destroy the integrity of the Mason Neck peninsula and endanger nesting eagles. They brought the beauty and significance of the eagle nesting sites and the expansive Great Marsh to the attention of local, State and Federal agencies.

As a listed species under the Endangered Species Act, the Alabama sturgeon is already protected wherever it occurs, and federal agencies are required to consult on any action they take that might affect the species. Designating critical habitat will provide non-regulatory benefits to the sturgeon by informing the public of areas that are important to the species' recovery and identifying where conservation actions would be most effective. The agency enforces federal wildlife laws, administers the Endangered Species Act, manages migratory bird populations, restores nationally significant fisheries, conserves and restores wildlife habitat such as wetlands, and helps foreign and Native American tribal governments with their conservation efforts. It also oversees the Federal Assistance program, which distributes hundreds of millions of dollars in excise taxes on fishing and hunting equipment to state fish and wildlife agencies. The ICBP compiles data on all endangered bird species, promotes conservation projects, and identifies potential conservation problems. It publishes books, a Technical Publications Series, Study Reports and Bulletins, and a newsletter, World Birdwatch , which reports on legislative matters, international treaties, agency actions, meetings, and species problems.

US Animal Control

Wildlife removed /  Entry repaired /  Job Guaranteed

Arlington wildlife removal specializes in all types of animal trapping and exclusion.   We remove bats, raccoons, skunks, squirrels, snakes, opossums,    beavers, flying squirrels, rats ,mice and birds of all kinds including pigeons. Any type of Controlling Critters is what we do on a daily basis. Squirrels in attics or in chimneys are a common problem in Arlington Virginia.

15 years experience

After we remove raccoons and or squirrels from your chimney we recommend a commercially made cap. When we remove raccoons from tour attic we find an appropriate method of closing the entrance. Most raccoons enter the attic through the attic fan or through rotten wood.

If the raccoon enters through rotten wood, we cover it with sheet metal so it cannot ever get back inside. All raccoon and squirrel jobs come with a free attic inspection.
